The INTERACTION project kicked off the year with great momentum as partners from Greece, Cyprus, Lithuania, and North Macedonia came together in Nicosia on January 22-23, 2025, for their 3rd Transnational Meeting. Set against the vibrant backdrop of the Cypriot capital, the gathering was more than just a progress update—it was a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and the shared mission to preserve and promote Europe’s cultural heritage through sustainable practices.
The meeting was hosted by our new partners, Almyras NGO, at Ktirion 53, a dynamic space that perfectly set the stage for meaningful discussions, creative exchanges, and strategic planning for the next phases of the project.
The first day began with a warm welcome from the hosts, followed by an overview of the project’s progress presented by the team from North Macedonia. Next, Almyras NGO introduced the structure and key aspects of the next project deliverable, the Artistic Workshops, focusing on the initial steps of their organization. After the lunch break, the team engaged in a Q&A session regarding the implementation of the workshops, facilitating an exchange of ideas and best practices to ensure their smooth execution in the coming months.
The day concluded with a social dinner, allowing partners to strengthen their relationships in a more informal setting.
On the second day, participants received updates from the p-consulting team on the development of the online platform and website, as well as insights into the project’s impact on the target groups so far. This was followed by a presentation on the project’s dissemination activities before moving on to final remarks and another lunch break.
The meeting ended with a cultural tour of Nicosia’s old town, giving partners the opportunity to explore the local cultural heritage firsthand.
The discussions focused on sustainable creativity and the circular economy, reinforcing collaboration for the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. Adapting initiatives to local needs and ensuring community participation remain key priorities for the project.
At the end of the meeting, partners reaffirmed their commitment to continuing their joint efforts, making use of the tools developed and strengthening their collaboration.
A heartfelt thank you to our partners in Cyprus for their exceptional hospitality and flawless organization of a truly successful meeting!
