Our 2nd meeting in Patras, Greece

Our second transnational meeting for the INTERACTION project was successfully held in Patras on July 8th and 9th. Representatives from our partner organizations in Cyprus, Lithuania, Poland, and North Macedonia traveled to the coastal city of Patras in Greece to attend the two-day event, expertly organized by the Patras-based company Liofyllo.

Day 1: Monday, July 8th

We convened at a seaside hotel in Patras to review our collective achievements over the past nine months since the INTERACTION project began, and to plan the next steps for our initial deliverables. Presentations were given by partners from North Macedonia and Patras, highlighting the progress made by the entire team. The format for the first deliverable on the INTERACTION website was showcased and this initiated a discussion on the structure of the next deliverable, which will also be featured on the project’s site. We also mapped out the tasks for the upcoming months and assigned responsibilities to each partner.

At noon, we all enjoyed a meal together, reflecting on the morning’s discussions. In the evening, we reconvened in a more relaxed setting, dining at a renowned seaside tavern where we sampled traditional dishes. This provided an opportunity to get to know each other better and form stronger bonds. The day ended with a toast to our gracious hosts’ health and commemorative photos to celebrate the success of our meeting.

Day 2: Tuesday, July 9th

The second day had a more relaxed agenda. The organizers arranged an outdoor activity, emphasizing a key element of INTERACTION—nature. Despite the high temperatures, we visited Strofilia Forest and Kalogria Beach for a day of relaxation and recreation. This outing helped recharge our batteries and strengthened our commitment to the project.

The 2nd INTERACTION meeting concluded successfully, with all representatives returning to their home countries feeling happy and confident about the progress made in Patras. This meeting underscored the importance of teamwork and collaboration, demonstrating once again that these are essential to achieving positive outcomes.
